Boarding Clients

• We love our black lab, Kaarina, as one of our family. Leaving her while we were on vacation used to be a difficult decision. We were constantly concerned for her well being. Thanks to you and all her friends at Covenant Kennel, this is no longer an issue. She receives the same love, care and exercise she receives at home. • The best referral we can give for Covenant Kennels comes from our 4-year old Golden Retriever - he loves it there! As soon as we get there, he's out of the car and looking for “his” kennel area as well as friends he has among the dogs who, like he, return time and again. And when we pick him up after a stay, he is quite upset and really mopes for several days! We were spoiled by the wonderful kennel we took our dog to while living in the UK and spent some considerable time trying to locate a similar environment back here in Montgomery County. We found it in Covenant Kennels - it is worth the drive because of the amazing care our dog receives there. Soo and Gregg Barrow, with unending patience for and great understanding of dogs, have created an environment that keeps the animals' needs and safety as its focal points. Located in a beautiful hilly and wooded area of Montgomery County, they offer their four-legged guests safe housing, large safe play areas with lots of play time, good feeding, and above all, a very caring and individualized approach to each and every one of them. Our dog, for example, is absolutely terrified of thunderstorms, to the point of needing medication and constant attention to make it through a storm. Gregg and Soo take turns to give him that individual attention regardless of time of day or night, should it become necessary! We have personally observed similar care given to meet the varying needs of other dogs in their charge. We are very happy to have found this kennel and feel very comfortable in recommending it to others!
