Gregg is an experienced trainer and certified Mondio Ring Decoy.  He is currently working with Linda and her two Malinois. Zeidel is in training for Mondio Ring and Zenith is learning basic rag work.  Mondio Ring, as well as all the other protection sports, require a dog with sound temperament. 

 The dogs enjoy the sport and view it as a game with the decoy.  Gregg will not accept any dog for protection sport training unless it is also being trained in obedience and its temperament has been assessed as being suitable for sport work. 


Gregg enjoyed being Santa for the Montgomery County Humane Society Christmas photo shoot.  We offer a 10% discount on training for pets adopted from an animal shelter.  Please bring your adoption papers with you.

Covenant Kennels believes in feeding a biologically appropriate diet.

We grind an average of 90 pounds of chicken (with bones) each week! 

 This is Sadie, a Miniature Schnauzer.  She came to stay with us while her owners were on vacation.
Sadie is a champion yodeler and she would often lead us on an a cappella harmony.
Bubba Bassett is one of our favorite guests.  He knows exactly which kennel is his.  

Bubba enjoys a well padded bed so we are careful to keep a thick blanket down at all times.

Pets are provided with a sleeping pad and fresh clean water is available at all times.  All runs are disinfected regularly.  Water and food dishes are disinfected twice daily.  You could say, we're fanatically anti-germs!
Gallo is a Boxer, imported from Spain by Marki.  He is training for Schutzhund.  As you can see he enjoys the sport!

In Schutzhund, Gregg uses a specially constructed sleeve.  Gallo is also training for AKC obedience and tracking.
